It acts as a sister song to "Redemption," which explored the consequences of choosing the other person over myself. In contrast, “I’d Rather Lose You Than My Mind” offers a do-over, showing what happens when self-love takes priority. This is the fourth song of the Past EP, and it introduces anger into the narrative, marking the beginning of my journey towards self-prioritization.
